I have paid for parking almost every day up till now. I also see some cheats saying no and arguing with genuine reasons to just say that they cannot pay the parking fee. However they are always a group of teenagers. Others who are grownups never do such things.

If the parking is in residential apartment then you will hardly find any money being taken. But If you will talk to the secretary of the building then he will explain you that how some of the investors are earning from parking zone. You can also find it out from your receipt that you pay every month for the parking zone apart from security fee.
If you will look at various commercial buildings then you will soon find out that the basement is reserved for the parking zone. There are parking zones as well in second or fourth floor. However if you want your vehicle to stand in those parking zones then you will have to pay for it.
The question arises that is it really profitable to pay the parking cost. The answer will be yes because by doing this your vehicles are safe and sound. You can then move here and there without the fear of losing them.
