Hiring process is very important. The more serious we will be better real estate agent we will be able to hire. There is a chance that if we do not hire real estate agent properly we will be cheated. We have to be extra cautious while hiring them.
Real estate is not a joke. This even happen only ones in every person’s life. It’s not a matter of few dollars. It’s in millions or billions and even more. We have to lay emphasis on some facts while hiring them. They are:
1.We should make sure that we know the difference between real estate agent, realtor and lawyer. We must know that all the three are specials I there field and we have to hire each of them. So make sure that real estate agent whom you are hiring is specialized in his job.
2.Take interview of all real estate agents one by one. You can also take telephonic interview. No agent charges for this. If you are satisfied then you can call him for face to face interview. Now the question arises what type of questions must be answered so that you the buyer become satisfied.
a.Make sure that the real estate agent is expert in his field. You can ask for his educational qualification. You must look whether he is licensed or not. Make sure his license and educational qualification is up o the mark. You should not only go by his license. You should ask some more questions. But for this you have to do some research. You can discuss with him all the events which will occur in future and ask him how he will tackle with it.
b.You should also ask what will be his percentage. You must make sure that this is finalized before the work starts. You will have to do some homework to bargain on percentage. However you must know that on average each real estate agent charges 8% of the selling price.
3.Once the interview is over you have hired the real estate agent, his and yours work starts and good luck for your deal.
